The 2007 Southern Folger Award of Excellence Presented to FDC Honolulu

At Southern Folger, the end user is our most important customer.  Our on-the-road staff visited almost 500 detention facilities in 2007, to meet face-to-face with the people who use our product every day.  In doing so we are able to get first-hand feedback on our product quality and operation, which is vital to maintaining a secure environment for facility staff and inmates.  Federal Detention Center Honolulu was selected to receive the first Southern Folger Award of Excellence, in recognition of their quality in operations as evidenced by inmate management and the quiet, clean and well-organized working environment.  Add to that the outstanding attitude of the correctional staff, charged with both male and female detainees, many of them for short periods pending trial.  Congratulations to Warden Linda McGrew and staff, who received a special wall plaque in their honor.
